THE POETIZE CODE – Extra-Cultura EP

RELEASE DO AUTOR:
English
How could we define these sounds? Imagine a mix of sophisticated/lush pop music [Cocteau Twins, Massive Attack, Björk] with glitchy and skilled mixing/edition work [similar to labels like Ninja Tune, Rephlex, 4ad].
If you appreciate “soulful” experimentalism, here’s just what you need!
A lot of vocal samples and exotic timbres permeate these tunes, carrying us through multiple instant trips: hard to describe, easier “visualizing” it by repeated listens!
Have fun with the exclusive surreal sounds of the Poetize Code §8=>B!
AUTHOR’S RELEASE
The Poetize Code constitutes an intelligent crossover of IDM / abstract beats and the flow on the computerized beatbox of rap music. Bruno Trocoli is the creator of the idea and all melodies, glitches and digital beats. Always aiming at bringing peace and calm to those who listen his music and trying to raise the environments’ vibrations.
The Poetize Code means digital poetry which ranges spiritual/ astral themes; futuristic, sidereal technology and sincere love, written through codes. Bruno Trocoli have learned to produce in 2003 and his professor was rap producer and audio technician Vagner(Kareta), integrant of Mzs group [from Franca, Sao Paulo, Brazil]. This is why his greatest influence is still rap music.

Wow !
UFO Technology my new favourite song.
Keep up the good work !

Three for tryings.

1. Lights – it`s halfsounded chaotic ambient, based on covering and remixing famous vocal line from It`s a fine day \ATB\. Total mess includs experimenting with dark ambient in second part of track and also you can find 80bps rhytm inside /as element of trip hop :/
2. Almas Gemeas – diffrent mess, same feelings.
3. UFO Technology – rather distaster than any technology.
4. Japanese tradition – gush just don`t try to listen to this.
5. Celestial
I thing of myself as someone with open mind – especially for a music. I like albums with noise, ambients, EBMs, many types of electronic music, trip hop, hip hop, classic music, hard rock, metal, jazz, reggae, neofolk, industrials – and many other genres. I dont see boarders…. and I`m sure that this EP don`t deserve to be threated as music worth one.
It was propably prepared in technology drag and drop in some FL studio or similar platform, then author compiled it a little and after that decide to show it to the others. Sorry, but I don`t see music in here.
And why I`m giving 3 note?
Becuase each tryings to find new sounds is better way then just listening to commercial radiostations :)
with regards for future searching.
and PS: correct me if I`m wrong regarding time given to create this mess.
Nice experiment…

I think all that needs to be said has been said by the creator. Personally, I liked what has been produced here, it’s not what I’d go for given the choice, but I enjoy a change and it was a breath of fresh air for me, with a good vocal snatches. The latter usually put me off but music is like beauty, or any other conception of what is good against what is bad. Here it’s in the ear of the beholder. There is a lot more rubbish being forced down the throat of the majority than this little, relatively insignificant album. Why not just stick to mainstream and then you ‘know’ it’s good, isn’t that the ‘philosophy’, a word which most people don’t even understand, let alone put into practice.
What I see is an attempt to create something different, with its own flair, whether that appeals depends on your restrictions imposed on a subjective concept of what is good or not. What I see is an attempt at alternative creativity, its success is in its reception, which like I said in inveterately perspectival. By self-declaration it is experimental music, so I say keep experimenting and put your heart and soul into it, and I will find it satisfactory enough.
Pretty average

I like the way they hype themselves up but they have a long way to go until they sign to Ninja Tune..
Fine PsyTripHop

Great dimensions of rythmic ambient soundscapes with strange female vocals. Not for everytime hearing, but for special moments. A journey in the head to outer- or innerspace. I like it.
Thanx
