Fluxo – Visões Remanescentes (Lado A)

Fluxo – Visões Remanescentes (Lado A)

FLUXO!”

English

Coming from Niteroi (Arthur), Sao Goncalo (Wallace) and Rio de Janeiro (Goribeatz), RJ, Brazil; they go on with their own “rhythm and poetry” touch: bases which sound like a brazilian version of artists such as DJ Shadow and Nightmares on Wax, plus (portuguese) lyrics/vocals which sit inbetween deeply artistic and revealing insights upon daily life.

“Visões Remanescentes – Lado A” (translates as “Remaining Visions – A-Side”) is the fourth album by brazilian Fluxo (translates as “Flow”) trio, packed with the participations of many beatmakers: Dheeny, Renan Samam, Luciana Playmobile, Laudz, Mestre Xim, Bruno Trocoli, Marcelo Martins and Papatinho.

Composed by both older tracks and newer material, the album presents a third member to the group, Goribeatz.

Now with this reinforcement in music bases (using a lot of variety in sample choices) and graphic design, more connections and creative possibilities are reflected in this new work.

“Echoes of our concerns generated by the environment in which we live, which every year gain size. Reported visions in the constant, uneven and confused activity in a world in motion. FLUXO!”

  1. Excellent…. More Please Soon…

This has got to be one of the best rap, hiphop, downtempo, trip albums. I have ever checked out. I just love the way their vocals. Just roll and bounce and resonate inside my head and heart. And give me such a buzz and pure intoxication of enjoyment and pure that will stay with me even after this whole album has ended. Executed and performed to a very high standard. And a sheer thrill and a great entertainment value it gave me to add to my collection of musical styles I like and love.

Not being a huge fan of hip-hop, rap and that whole genre . . .I tend to ignore these albums . . .but – I still gave this a shot .. . looking for something different on Jamendo . . . I happened to have found your thread on the forums . . . and decided to listen . .. and here I am enjoying this whole album with a big smile on my face. . .

The sound is great . . . actually its outstanding! You should see me . . . head is nodding . . . feet are tapping and all with that previously mentioned smile . . . my only frustration is the language but oh well . . . life is tough I guess but the music is good!

  6. Faço minhas as palavras do Wolfsong.thePoet.
